I like how iconic the boy's destiny's look is. The hair especially with the big shape and unique texture of the silhouette. As for the girl's destiny, I think her hair could be more decisive in it's overall shape. To be honest the repetition of form and even thickness is almost reminiscent of intestine. Sorry for that imagery. Maybe try deriving it from the shape of her bangs and do something inspired by that?
Nice work, Keena! I agree with Emily's comments. I think one thing to think about in designing the girl destiny hair is a variation of shape sizes. I think large and small shapes would give it more emotion and places of both visual interest and visual rest.
I like how they resemble the characters, I'm just wondering if they can maybe resemble them a little less directly. I wonder, since they don't have to obey gravity or even human anatomy, can they be more of a direct expression of the essence of the characters, their *personality* more than their appearance? Is there some simple shape, no matter how "unrealistic" you could push them toward? Something simpler and less detailed than the human character?
